About Me

Hi, I am Kellie. I have been a children’s Nanny in Fulham for 35 years, caring for 14 families and over 30 babies and young children in my beautiful career.
I have loved and cared for newborns up to 10 years of age.

I have never classed my Nannying positions as just a job, I become a part of their family and the children have become a part of mine. I was with my last wonderful family for 10 years caring for all 3 children from birth. They have become a huge part of my life and vice versa.

I’m now transitioning into Childminding and looking forward to a new chapter working in my own home, meeting and building new friendships with families in Addiscombe and setting up a fun filled learning adventure for your precious little ones.

I have references from parents spanning over the 35 years.

My operating policy

In my Childcare setting my focus is to keep everyone happy and healthy so to make sure that happens I will need to protect each child from any potential childhood virus from spreading to another child or myself. If you bring your child to my setting with a persistent cough, temperature, sore eyes or suspicious rash I will have to unfortunately send your child back home with you. Your child may happily return when they are no longer unhappy with themselves and are no threat to spreading it to the other children in my care or to myself. If your child requires Calpol to get through the day, you the parent should stay at home with your child. Your child needs to be 24hrs free from temperature before coming back to my setting. I will have in writing and signed by you the parent permission to give your child Calpol if your child becomes unwell while at my setting. If your child develops a temperature of 38*C or above while at my setting, and unless your child is allergic to Calpol (I will have the information on my records) I will contact you to say I’m going to administer Calpol with the correct dosage for your child’s age then ask you to come and collect your child. If your child is between the age of 3-6 months, I will administer 2.5ml 6-24 months, I will administer 5ml 2-4 years I will administer 7.5ml 4-6 years I will administer 10m Your child will have their own bottle of Calpol and administering syringe to prevent cross contamination between the other children at my setting and stored in a locked cabinet. When your child returns to my setting fit and well but will need to finish the course of antibiotic’s I will have a medication chart so myself and you the parent can sign and date the time and what dosage your child has had at home and will have at my setting. If your child has a vomiting bug or diarrhoea, you the parent need to keep your child at home for 48hrs until after the last episode. If your child has chicken pox, measles or hand foot and mouth they can only return to my setting when they are no longer contagious. Children on antibiotics need to be on them for 24hrs before returning to my setting If your child is away due to illness full fees still apply. If I myself become unwell and I am unable to work you the parent will not be charged .

Kellie has been the anchor of our family for over the last nine years. She has been with us since our eldest was 12 weeks old and has been one of the first people to hold my other two children.

They have never thought of Kellie as their nanny as her love and care for them has gone above and beyond that of someone doing a ‘job’. She has loved them as her own children and that has meant that they have known nothing other than uncontainable love.

Kellie is the most loyal, caring person you could ever hope to look after your children. She is amazing with tiny babies, sick children nothing is too much trouble.
